Eight Museums for Free! (2)π
Today is a day off β€οΈ. I started the morning by watching a movie that costs only one dollar during the summer vacation π¬. It's a great way to practice my English listening skills. In the afternoon, I headed to the Museum Mile Festival! π ππΈ After getting off at Grand Central Station, I strolled from 47th Street all the way to 110th Street. The Metropolitan Museum was the most popular, with a super long line! Along the way, the most impressive stalls were the body painting ones. There were several completely naked people getting painted on their bodies! There were so many people around, and lots of folks were out walking their cats and dogs! πΆπ± ππΈ We entered the Museum of the City of New York around seven. The exhibition areas, spread over three floors plus a basement, were quite rich. Each section controlled the number of visitors, so it wasn't crowded at all. Finally, I went to the basement to watch a half-hour video introducing the history of New York City. ππΈThe content was easy to understand and felt like a complete summary of the exhibits on the three floors above. It was really good! You can learn about the entire history and culture of New York! π½ When you visit the Museum of the City of New York, remember to start from the first floor, go up to the third floor, and then head to the basement to watch the video. It's a perfect arrangement. ππΈThe regular admission ticket is usually US$23, but it's free during the Museum Mile Festival β€οΈ. #SabrinaInNewYork #MuseumMileFestival π
