El Paso | That Day

El Paso | That Day I Saw Mexico Across the Mountains 🇲🇽 El Paso truly is a warm city—passionate and charming. That day, drinking on the rooftop, watching the golden city under the sunset, I knew that beyond the distant mountains lies another country 🇲🇽, home to another group of lovely people 💕. Memorial Day Trip Day 1⃣️, I chose to land in the largest city in West Texas—El Paso. With its captivating natural scenery, rich history, and multicultural vibe, it became the starting point of my New Mexico journey 🌄🗺️. 🏨 This time I picked The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park because I heard the rooftop offers stunning sunset views 🌄—and the scenery truly delivered 👍! Plus, all their amenities are Le Labo, which made this fragrance-lover very happy 👍. But❗️❗️❗️I stayed on the 15th floor, and the 17th floor is an open-air bar—it was so loud at night I couldn’t sleep. Having just come back from EDC, I couldn’t handle any more EDM 🥹 (light sleepers, choose carefully!). ⛰️ El Paso lies at the foot of the majestic Franklin Mountains and is a key city on the US-Mexico border, blessed with spectacular natural landscapes 🏞️. Its unique culture blends American and Mexican 🇲🇽 elements. You can visit the El Paso Museum of History to learn about the region’s rich history and border culture 📚. Additionally, El Paso has many Mexican-style arts and architecture, such as St. Patrick Cathedral and Chamizal National Memorial ⛪🌵. 😋 Food: El Paso is famous for its diverse culinary scene 🌮🌯! Here you can try authentic Mexican cuisine. This trip, I mainly ate at a local Mexican spot, Julio's Mexican Food(📍8050 Gtwy Blvd E, El Paso, TX 79907)—the flavor was pretty good (though I’ve never really gotten Mexican food 🙃). 🍴 The hotel’s own restaurant and rooftop bar are also great (reservations needed). You can head to the rooftop at sunset for a couple of drinks 🥂🌇. They don’t have a cocktail menu—the bartender mixes drinks based on your description, which is really fun 😉. Hope you enjoyed my share today. Take someone you love to watch the rooftop sunset in El Paso 🌄❤️! #RomanticLifeRecorder#ElPaso#ResortHotel#NewMexico#ElPaso#TravelGuide#ElPasoFood#Sunset#NewMexicoTravel
