El Paso Food & Drink

El Paso Food & Drink 🐳 | Highly Recommended Steakhouse with Great Value! We booked a hotel in El Paso for our trip to White Sands National Park, and this steakhouse was right next to the hotel. After trying it once, I just wanted to go back—it was so delicious!! The portions are huge; just one steak and one appetizer were enough for two people. 🍞 Complimentary Bread The bread was super fragrant! The combo of butter mixed with honey was a great takeaway—I'm definitely trying this at home next time 😂🍯. The honey butter was so good we kept eating it even after finishing the bread! 🥑 Chophouse Nachos So tasty! Loaded with steak, cheese, veggies, guacamole, and bean paste. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, and the bean paste reminded me of gallo pinto 😂🫘. The steak pieces were plentiful, tender, and delicious! It was a huge portion—we even felt a bit full after just this appetizer. 🥩 Bone-In Ribeye I felt like their steaks tend to be slightly overcooked. We ordered medium, but it came out more like medium-well to well-done. The taste wasn’t exactly what we expected, but overall, it was still good. Their pasta 🍝 and cocktails 🍹 are supposedly great too, but we were just too full to try! One small hiccup: our steak was initially messed up in the kitchen, so they had to re-grill it. But the server didn’t tell us until we had waited over 20 minutes and were getting impatient. That was a minor service flaw, but the food quality was absolutely solid—I still highly recommend it! Two things to note before you go 👀: 1⃣️ The kitchen closing time is different from Google Maps’ listed closing time. On our day, Google said 10 PM, but the kitchen stopped taking orders at 8:30 PM. If you're going late, call ahead to check. 2⃣️ We went on a weekend during dinner hours and waited about 10 minutes—totally acceptable. You can also make a reservation to avoid waiting. 🍽️ West Texas Chophouse 📍 1135 Airway Blvd, El Paso, TX 79925 #Steak#Beef#FoodReview#WesternCuisine#SteakLovers#ButterAndBread#BreadFanatic#MexicanNachos
