🍂I came for a friend’s wedding and fell in love with this "Heart of the Baltic." 🎈Even in late April, I was greeted by a surprise snowstorm—classic Nordic weather! 🍂Staying in the Old Town was perfect, surrounded by landmarks and charm. 🎈Must-Do Highlights ⛪ St. Peter’s Church – €7 for the elevator ride to the top. 🌟The 360° view of Riga’s red rooftops is unbeatable. 🛒 Riga Central Market – A local’s paradise: 🌟0.40€ donuts + spicy olives (my favorite snack combo with wine & ham). 🌟Cheap, fresh berries and warm vendors. ⛲ Nativity of Christ Cathedral – Free entry, stunning Orthodox art (no photos inside). 🌊 Riverside Walks – Perfect in any weather, with postcard-worthy views. 🗽 Freedom Monument – Guarded 24/7, next to a lovely park along the river. 🏰 House of the Blackheads – A rebuilt 14th-century guild hall with silver treasures and eerie cellars. 🐈 The Cat House – Snap the rooftop felines (their tail-flipping drama with the guild is legendary!). 🌹Regrets & Next Time 🌳Missing Riga Cathedral’s 6,768-pipe organ concerts. 🌳Skipping the art museum across from it. 🌹(Some trips leave gaps—so you have excuses to return!) #Riga #LatviaTravel #NordicVibes
