Enchanting Bratislava

Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is a compact city that can be fully explored in a day. The cost of living here is much more affordable compared to Vienna, making it a great place to visit on a nice day. **Transportation:** It takes about 55 minutes by train from Vienna's central station. You can buy tickets on the spot, and the round-trip fare is 20 euros. Trains run frequently, with departures almost every hour, which makes travel very convenient.😍😍😍 **Getting Around:** After exiting the train station, it's a 15-minute walk to the Old Town. You basically don't need any other means of transportation. **Sights to See:** - **Landmark:** Michael's Gate - **Government Buildings** - **Old Town**💕💕💕 - **Čumil (The Man at Work)**: A famous statue with a unique design. - **Lipstick Kisses**: A quirky attraction where you can leave your mark. - **Ceramic Flowers and Fridge Magnets**: These little souvenirs are really charming and worth a look. - **The Blue Church - Church of St. Elizabeth**: This beautiful blue church is definitely worth a visit, although its opening hours are quite limited: 6:30-7:30 a.m. and 5:30-7:00 p.m. - **Local Beverages**: Kofola is a unique Slovak cola that's less sweet than regular cola and has a hint of ginger. Vinea is a grape-flavored soda available in three colors. I tried the green (white grape, highly recommended) and red (red grape, which is sweeter).😻😻😻 We also visited the castle, but the weather was quite hot, and the climb was tiring. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos. #ViennaTravel #WeekendTrip #Slovakia #BratislavaTravel #Europe #EuropeanTravel #EasternEurope #Travel
