Enjoying Good Food and Drinks While Viewing Maple Leaves in Algonquin

A Portuguese restaurant: 1️⃣ Seafood Risotto This seafood risotto gets a 5-star rating from me, the MVP of the meal! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The seafood is plentiful and super fresh (I’ve had seafood rice in DT before that left a bad impression). 2️⃣ Portuguese Style Chicken Grilled chicken with fries 🍟 and salad πŸ₯—. The chicken is standard, but the fries are incredibly delicious, haha! 3️⃣ Oysters πŸ¦ͺ I don’t eat raw food, so my friends ordered the oysters, and they said they were very fresh. 4️⃣ Daily Soup On the day we visited, it was potato soup, super creamy! 5️⃣ Bread Before the Meal The complimentary bread comes with two types of sauce, hmm… the taste is quite unique, a bit tangy… πŸ“ Kawartha Ice Cream Shop 🍦 So many flavors, it’s hard to choose! They come in baby, small, and large sizes; OMG, the portions are huge! We ordered the small size, which came with two scoops, allowing us to mix and match flavors.πŸ’• Our favorites were Muskoka Mocha and Black Raspberry; the Pistachio Almond has loads of pistachios and almonds (beware if you don’t like almonds, this one hardly tastes like pistachio); the purple Grape flavor is too artificial and sweet, not recommended at all.❌❌❌ On September 28th, when we went, only 10% of the maple leaves had turned red, but it was nice because there were few people; it’ll get crowded once more leaves turn red, so remember to make a reservation for the restaurant. #AlgonquinMapleLeaves #AlgonquinTravelNotes #AlgonquinFood #KawarthaIceCream #TorontoMapleLeaves
