Enjoying Good Food and Drinks While Viewing Maple Leaves in Algonquin
A Portuguese restaurant: 1οΈβ£ Seafood Risotto This seafood risotto gets a 5-star rating from me, the MVP of the meal! πππππ The seafood is plentiful and super fresh (Iβve had seafood rice in DT before that left a bad impression). 2οΈβ£ Portuguese Style Chicken Grilled chicken with fries π and salad π₯. The chicken is standard, but the fries are incredibly delicious, haha! 3οΈβ£ Oysters π¦ͺ I donβt eat raw food, so my friends ordered the oysters, and they said they were very fresh. 4οΈβ£ Daily Soup On the day we visited, it was potato soup, super creamy! 5οΈβ£ Bread Before the Meal The complimentary bread comes with two types of sauce, hmmβ¦ the taste is quite unique, a bit tangyβ¦ π Kawartha Ice Cream Shop π¦ So many flavors, itβs hard to choose! They come in baby, small, and large sizes; OMG, the portions are huge! We ordered the small size, which came with two scoops, allowing us to mix and match flavors.π Our favorites were Muskoka Mocha and Black Raspberry; the Pistachio Almond has loads of pistachios and almonds (beware if you donβt like almonds, this one hardly tastes like pistachio); the purple Grape flavor is too artificial and sweet, not recommended at all.βββ On September 28th, when we went, only 10% of the maple leaves had turned red, but it was nice because there were few people; itβll get crowded once more leaves turn red, so remember to make a reservation for the restaurant. #AlgonquinMapleLeaves #AlgonquinTravelNotes #AlgonquinFood #KawarthaIceCream #TorontoMapleLeaves
