Enjoying Japanese and Thai cuisine all at once! π€©
To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The overall experience was quite average. None of the dishes were particularly delicious or impressive. π§ Thai Milk Tea πππ The flavor was quite weak. Black tea would be more flavorful and rich compared to green tea, but both were a bit bland. π¦ Tiger Roll (Fried Shrimp Roll) πππ It was pretty average. It didn't stand out from the ones you'd get at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet versions might even be better. Thai Appetizer Platter ππππ This was pretty good. The vegetable and shrimp cakes were quite tasty. I'd recommend it. Tempura Roll (Uramaki Tempura) ππ Eh... it was really average. Sashimi Salmon ππππ Sashimi Scampi πππ The pieces were pretty big, but the flavor was just okay. It lacked the sweet and fatty texture you'd expect. Foie Gras and Truffle Roll (Truffle Deluxe) ππππ This was probably the best roll they had. The amount of foie gras was just right. Any more would have been too greasy. Shrimp Udon Noodles πππ It was decent, nothing special. But there were a lot of shrimp. Thai Beef Rice ππππ This was my second favorite dish. It had a bit of a spicy kick that was quite addictive! Scallops (Capesante) β I wouldn't recommend this. Who knew it would be cooked in this kind of Chinese-style, which tasted average and had a lot of sand... Mango Rice πππππ The best dish of the night! The mango was really delicious. Restaurant: Niwa π Address: Via del Ponte alle Mosse, 16/r, 50144 Firenze FI πΆ Price: Around 50β¬ per person Rating: πππ Nothing particularly stood out. Maybe we didn't order the right dishes, but their Japanese cuisine was really average. It might be better to go for a set meal instead. #ThaiFood #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem #AmbianceRestaurant #GlobalFoodie #JapaneseCuisine #JapaneseRestaurant #ThaiMilkTea #MangoRice #UdonNoodles #Tempura #Niwa #Florence #FlorenceNiwa #Italy #Prato #GrilledScallops #FoieGrasRoll
