Eugene, Oregon Is Truly Wonderful 🌲

I usually go to school in Florida, so this trip to Eugene was a nice little escape—all to visit an alumna (a former schoolmate who’s a few years older than me)! And let me tell you, this place exceeded every expectation—I left with such a warm feeling about it . What stood out most? How kind everyone was here. Whether I popped into a tiny dessert shop for a sweet treat 🧁, stopped by an ice cream parlor to cool down with a scoop šŸ¦, or even just asked a local for directions on the street—people were so friendly, patient, and willing to chat. No rushed vibes, no cold shoulders—just that small-town warmth that makes you feel welcome right away. It’s the kind of kindness that turns a simple trip into something memorable, you know? I wandered around Eugene’s quiet streets, soaked up the fresh, crisp air (such a nice change from Florida’s humidity!), and even squeezed in a quick walk by a nearby park—all those autumn leaves (or even just the greenery, depending on the season!) made every corner feel like a postcard šŸ“ø. I didn’t have tons of time, but every little moment here felt calm and happy. Today, I’m heading back to Portland, and I already feel a little nostalgic. So I thought I’d share some photos I took—little snippets of Eugene to hold onto until I can visit again. This city might not be the biggest or most famous, but it’s got a heart that’s hard to forget. #EugeneOregon #TravelMemories #KindSmallTownVibes #FloridaToOregon #AlumnaVisit #PortlandBound
