🏰 European 8-Country Free Travel — The Resplendent Opera House 🎭

🏰🖼️The Paris Opera House is not included in the museum pass. I bought a visit ticket in advance on the official website for 15 euros. The performance tickets mentioned online didn't match our schedule, so we directly bought the earliest visit ticket. The doors open at 10 AM, and when we arrived at 9:46, there was already a long queue. At 10 AM sharp, the doors opened; the left side was for those with tickets, and the right side was for those without. Make sure not to stand in the wrong line. 🗼 After entering, you go through security as usual and then to the ticket check. Once past that, you can see the stairs, and it's already beautiful here with many people stopping to take photos. But it's even more beautiful from the stairs up! I recommend heading straight to the exhibition hall to take photos first, as it will get crowded later. It's truly resplendent with gold, and I couldn't stop looking up at the murals illuminated by the crystal chandeliers — so magnificent. In the gift shop, I saw a 3-euro coin that could be exchanged for a 0-euro souvenir coin. Later, at the Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie, I saw 2-euro coins with different patterns. ☔️Checked in at the most beautiful department store, Galeries Lafayette. The glass dome is indeed beautiful. Going up to the 7th floor, there's a terrace where you can see the Eiffel Tower. Since it's surrounded by glass barriers, standing on the outer edge of the terrace made my legs feel weak. When we arrived at Notre-Dame Cathedral, it started to rain. The rain added a layer of solemn tragedy to the sight of the cathedral. It was a heavy-hearted moment, but fortunately, it's said that the important sculptures, murals, altars, crosses, organs, and other treasures of the cathedral were rescued, including the metal rooster atop the 96-meter spire, with its three sacred relics intact. I hope I'll have the chance to visit again when Notre-Dame is fully restored. 🎶️Passed by the Moulin Rouge — since the iconic windmill on top fell off last time, it hasn't been replaced yet. The bare look matches Paris's efficiency, which rivals Australia's. #Europe #Paris #ParisOperaHouse #NotreDameCathedral #GaleriesLafayette #Paris #CulturalLandscapeSharing #Diary #TravelTheWorld
