Experiencing a gentle tipsiness in a Cape Town wine estate
⛰️Between the mountains and the sea, enjoy a gentle tipsiness 🍷 How can you visit Cape Town without going to a wine estate? 🍷 Constantia Glen 📍 Constantia Main Rd, Constantia, Cape Town, 7806 Just a 20 - minute drive from the city center, Constantia Glen is a boutique wine estate with a history dating back to 1695. Nestled in the mountains, it offers breathtaking scenery. It's the perfect place to relax. Sit on the terrace, gaze at the rolling hills, sip a glass of rich wine, chat with friends, and savor the slow pace of Cape Town. The estate also provides delicious meals to pair with their wines. However, I felt the service level has declined a bit this time. It might depend on the staff's performance, making the experience somewhat random. Haha 😄 🍷 Anthonij Rupert – Tasting Room 📍 R45 Wine Route, Franschhoek, 7690 Compared to Constantia Glen, Anthonij Rupert is located in Franschhoek, which is farther from the city center, but the journey is incredibly scenic, with picturesque vineyards lining both sides of the road. The estate itself exudes classic charm. The tasting room is decorated in a 19th - century Dutch style, and the outdoor area is spacious and elegant, making it ideal for events or leisurely wine - tasting. The wines here are of exceptional quality, offering a typical high - end estate experience. If you have enough time, I'd recommend staying in Franschhoek for a few more days to explore the flavors of different wine estates. I always rush through my visits and leave too soon. I really hope to stay here for a few days someday and fully immerse myself in the wonderful world of wine. 🤗 #SouthAfrica #WineWorld #WorkingHoliday #CapeTown #Gourmet #ExpatLife #WineLover
