Experiencing a Luau in Hawaii and Meeting a Real-Life Moana ๐ŸŒบ

Today, we set off from the hotel mentioned in the last post and walked about 20 minutes to the traditional Hawaiian Luau show. Along the way, we happened to stumble upon a traditional dance performance in a park. The Luau we attended is called the Diamond Head Luau. We bought front-row seats because, hey, when in Rome! The package included a fresh Lei, a freshly made traditional Hawaiian cocktail Mai Tai, a buffet, drinks (including alcoholic options), and even admission to the nearby aquarium! The highlight was seeing a real-life Moana making us bracelets. I can only say that the experience was top-notch, but once is enough. Itโ€™s about 200+ USD per person.๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒด The joy of traveling is meeting different people and listening to their life stories. At our table, we had a newlywed couple on their honeymoon, sharing their marital bliss; another couple was from New Jersey, celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. The gentleman couldnโ€™t stop talking about the good old days, reminiscing about their courtship and how handsome he was back then - it really cracked me up!๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŒด The food was just okay; I managed to eat a bit, but it was worth it for the performance and the scenery. Now, as I write this, the memories are flooding back! I just love Hawaii so much! ๐ŸŒบ #luau #diamondhead #hawaii#maitai #moana
