Exploring Borobudur Temple | Yogyakarta, Indonesia ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ The World's Largest Buddhist Stupa Relics Borobudur is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and is a large Buddhist architectural complex. The tall stupa is adorned with many exquisite reliefs and Buddha statues. It is known alongside China's Great Wall, India's Taj Mahal, and Cambodia's Angkor Wat as one of the four great wonders of the ancient Orient. The name is derived from the Sanskrit "Vihara Buddha Ur," which means "Buddhist temple on the hilltop"! Please take photos on the pedestrian walkways and do not climb on the carved surfaces of the stupa! Purchase tickets online in advance, and if you wish to climb to the top, buy the earliest batch, as there is a limit on the number of tickets for climbing to the top. The ticket includes (a pair of straw slippers, a bottle of water). The guide will lead us to collect the slippers and then arrange for us to wait in the holding area until the first batch is complete before setting off together... Staff will explain the precautions in English ๐Ÿ“‹ and a tour guide from the attraction will lead everyone into the site. It takes only 5 minutes to see the stupa architecture, and the on-site experience is truly stunning! While following the guide, you can find less crowded spots to take some photos! There are also many beautiful views at the exit. #Yogyakarta #Borobudur #Travel
