Exploring Florence's Culinary Scene
Osteria Pastella Address: Via della Scala, 17R, 50123 Florence, Italy Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This restaurant is currently my top favorite in Florence after dining at quite a few places. It's not too far from Santa Maria, and I highly recommend making a reservation in advance as it gets quite busy. You can easily book through Google Maps.💕💕💕 The decor of the restaurant gives off a very local, homely vibe—perfect for a family-style dining experience. The table settings are very elegant, and the service is impeccable. In addition to the complimentary bread, they also offer a welcome drink🥂 and some homemade fried bread rolls. This time, my friends and I ordered four dishes, following a 2+1+1 format:😻😻😻 Antipasto (Appetizers): - Mozzarella di Bufala di Aversa (A must-try for cheese lovers!) - Baccalà in pastella (Fried cod) Primo (First Course): - Tagliatelle flambé al Tartufo fresco in crosta di Grana Padano (Creamy black truffle pasta, served with a cheese cart for a live preparation experience. The cream is not greasy, the truffle is very fresh, and the portion is generous. .) Secondo (Second Course): 💕💕💕 - Tagliata di manzo, purea di patate, salsa di tartufo (The beef is incredibly tender, and the mashed potatoes with truffle sauce are simply divine. The flavors are truly exceptional. I recommend ordering it medium-rare.) Dolci (Dessert): - Tiramisù (Their version is made fresh to order and comes with a small scoop of ice cream.) The entire dining experience is full of ceremony, with each dish meticulously prepared and presented. The ingredients are very fresh. To top it all off, they offer a complimentary digestif at the end, which is a limoncello with a unique color and flavor. #ItalianLife #Florence #FlorenceCuisine
