Exploring Manhattan's Culinary Scene: Keens Steakhouse 🍖

🏙️Keens Steakhouse is a classic, old-school steak joint with a quintessentially American decor. The most iconic feature is the ceiling full of pipes (a Keens tradition). 🌟 We ordered the highly recommended Prime Rib King. While placing the order, we were chatting and accidentally asked for "raw" instead of "medium rare." 🎢 When it arrived, we were taken aback! It was just a thin crust of sear over the most unadorned, pink and tender meat. The legendary rare steak—taking a deep breath, we gave it a try and were blown away. It was incredibly delicious. The meat was tender, smooth, and had no gamey flavor at all. 🌊 It felt like we weren't even eating meat. The taste was completely different from medium rare or medium. It's definitely worth a try! 🍖 🌸 The waiter was very attentive. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us with a lemon cake after the meal, complete with a little candle.
