Exploring Munich | Ratchada

This Thai restaurant is absolutely AMAZING! 😍 It's a place recommended by someone from my research group, and according to them, it’s the most authentic and delicious Thai place they’ve found in Munich. Plus, when you step inside, you’ll notice a lot of Thai people eating here, which is always a good sign! 🇹🇭 We ordered three dishes: 🍲 Tom Yam Gung: It has two shrimp, and it's made in the most authentic way with a bit of silver ear fungus. We were all a bit surprised by the fungus, but it still tasted spot on—definitely authentic! 🦐 🥘 Panaeng: From what I understand, this is a Thai curry cooked with meat and vegetables. It can be a bit rich on its own, so it's perfect to pair with rice 🍚. Super aromatic and flavorful! 🍛 Nua Gratiam Prik: It’s like a sizzling beef dish, not spicy at all, and has a milder flavor. But the beef is seared perfectly, and there’s a generous portion of both meat and veggies. Definitely a winner! 🥩🍖 🫖 Thai Milk Tea: Classic Thai milk tea, of course, but the tea they offer for free at the restaurant 🍵 is incredibly delicious. We ended up refilling our cups several times because it was just that good! 🍹 To top it off, at the end of the meal, the owner gave each of us a bowl of sago pudding—so tasty, and we were all completely sold! 😋 I’m definitely coming back next time. The total bill was just 53€, which is such a great deal for the quality and portion sizes! Highly recommend! 👍 📍The restaurant is located near Sendlinger Tor station, right in the city center. The storefront is small, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for it.
