Exploring Museums in Bern 🏛️

The first place we visited was the Zentrum Paul Klee. I really love Paul Klee's painting style. Some of his works are realistic, delicate, and small, while others are abstract, multidimensional, and full of meaning. 🎨 He is a modern artist, so we went straight to the basement level, where the best paintings and the cloakroom are located. The ground floor has an Olympic theme, and there are lounge chairs and swings outside for resting. 🪑 Einstein's former residence is quite small and often crowded with visitors. 🧑‍🔬 The Einstein Museum and the Natural History Museum are in the same building. The Einstein Museum is packed with information, offering a comprehensive view of Einstein's life. Everything is introduced in English, and the audio guide is free. You just need to bring your own headphones. 🎧 The Alpine Museum is across from the Historical Museum, where you can quietly explore the history of the Alps. 🏔️ Besides the museums, we also wandered around the Old Town and visited the Bear Park. 🐻 Bern's outdoor swimming pool, Marzili, is free and very close to the city center. I even brought my swimsuit, ready to jump in at any time. 🏊‍♀️ I did get a bit tanned. After just one hour of swimming, I had a swimsuit tan line. *The price of enjoying summer—painfully delightful.* 😊 There weren't too many people in the pool, but the grassy areas were packed with sunbathers. I didn't find a hairdryer, but sitting on the lawn for a while dried my hair. 🌿 Sitting on the grass after swimming was so comfortable, and you could see the Bern Federal Parliament Building (or the Capitol) in the distance. Tours of the Capitol are free, guided, and require advance reservation. (I went last year, but the tour was not in English. Still, it was quite impressive to see the Federal Parliament up close.) 🏛️ When we left, the train station even gave us chilled drinks—two bottles each. It was such a grand gesture from the capital! 🥤 By the way, Bern's zoo is also worth a visit. You can see a large flock of flamingos living freely, without being confined. 🦩 *Freedom is truly wonderful.* 🌟 #MuseumVisit #DayTrip #WeekendFun #ExhibitionRecommendations #TravelBits #FreeExhibitions #Switzerland #Bern #CulturalSites #Travel
