Exploring New York's Culinary Scene: Jing Li ๐
๐ Jing Li 27-35 Jackson Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101 Jing Li is a hidden gem in Long Island City, offering a delightful Chinese dining experience. ๐ฟ ๐ฟ Located downstairs from the LIC JP building, this restaurant has an impressively long operating hours, staying open until 1 a.m. on most days, and even later on Thursdays and Fridays until 2 a.m. The ambiance is cozy, and thereโs a small bar where you can order drinks. ๐ธ My friend and I ordered four dishes and two cocktails, which left us completely full. The average cost per person was around $38. Itโs truly a blessing to find such convenient, delicious, and affordable Chinese food in LIC! ๐ฅข Beef Back Ribs $13 ๐ ๐๐๐๐ These Sichuan-style roasted beef ribs are a standout! The ribs are huge, with a sweet and spicy flavor. The meat is marbled perfectly, offering a delightful mix of fat and lean. The ribs are generously seasoned with dried chili peppers, adding a nice kick. ๐ Golden Yolk Tofu $15 ๐ฒ ๐๐๐โจ This dish is perfect for rice lovers! Tofu and crab roe are a classic combination, and as a Zhejiang native, I couldnโt get enough of it. Itโs so flavorful that it could easily accompany three bowls of rice. While the seasoning is spot-on, I wish there was more real crab roe in the dish. ๐ฒ #NYCEats #LICDining #ChineseCuisine ๐
