Exploring Silky Kitchen in New York 🍔
Silky Kitchen has really taken off! They now have so many branches all over the city. 🌟 🌶️ Back in the day, I used to order from them on the cloud bulletin board all the time. Later, I would occasionally visit their Midtown or East Village locations. Last week, I discovered that they opened a new store near my place at NYU Palladium Hall. The ambiance is really nice, and they even have ordering machines, which are perfect for introverts. 🌆📱 This time, we ordered on #Rice delivery and picked it up ourselves. We got a discount of $40-12, and it seems like you can also get a direct $10 off. 🥢 🌟 It’s rare to find a place that still serves such huge portions after all these years. My friend from the north usually orders three different dishes and still can’t finish them all: Pig Liver and Meat Stir-fried Rice Noodles: Always go for the dry version; it’s not easy to handle soup when you’re a busy worker. 🌶️ Smoked Bamboo Shoots with Meat: A classic favorite. Spicy Pig’s Feet: This time, we added a soft-boiled egg, which was a great touch. 😋 😋 Beef Tripe: Also delicious! We tried it this time and loved it. 🍖 🌶️ My friend from the north, who can handle a decent amount of spice, usually goes for medium heat. This time, we were sweating a bit, maybe because the Union Square branch makes their dishes spicier than the others. 🌶️ My friend from the south, who is usually a spicy food champion, ordered extra spicy and ended up having a tough time. I’d say to anyone who wants to try the Hunan-style spiciness here, be cautious! Haha. #NewYork 🗽
