Exploring the Netherlands | Madurodam Miniature City 🏰🌍

Madurodam Museum, located on the outskirts of The Hague in the Netherlands, is a miniature version of the Dutch city scaled at 1:25, with many interesting places to explore. It's also translated as Lilliputian Land and you can buy tickets on the spot without reservation. Open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the admission fee is around 15 euros, and you can spend 2-3 hours here. Most activities are conducted in both Dutch and English, with summer being the peak season and fewer visitors as autumn approaches. The park offers a rich indoor space to explore the history and art of the Netherlands through all five senses. If you're traveling with children, this is undoubtedly a great space, not only fun but also educational, covering knowledge of plants, gardens, architecture, aviation, urban planning, and more. Park "attractions": 🎬 Het verhaal van George: The life of war hero George Maduro, who dedicated his life to the establishment of the Netherlands. Turn left upon entering the park for a 5-minute circular cinema presentation. 🚢 Nieuw Amsterdam: A nautical tale of how people sailed to America and established Nieuw Amsterdam, which is now known as New York. 🛫 The Flying Dutchman: A flight simulator that lets you experience the process of taking off and landing, while also telling the story of aviation development in the Netherlands through the cabin's glass screen. 🚤 De Waterwolf: How people used steam engine technology to utilize water resources during historical voyages. 🎨 De Hollandse Meesters: The Dutch application of color in art, made more vibrant with rotating technologies within the space. There's a tilted room imitate Van Gogh's bedroom, which made me realize its significance only later when I saw the painting at the Van Gogh Museum (a belated realization). Recommendation : ❤❤❤❤ Location: Easily accessible by train, car, and bicycle. Just use Google Maps to find it. #Netherlands #NetherlandsWeekend #ThingsToDoInTheHague
