Fairbanks Food – Big Daddy's BBQ
Fairbanks Food – Big Daddy's BBQ 🍖🔥 After a long, hungry day of exploring, this place really hit the spot! At around $25 per person, it’s a satisfying taste of Southern barbecue in the northernmost part of the United States 🇺🇸🏔️. We started off with a Backcountry Blue 🍺, a uniquely sweet craft beer that was both refreshing and flavorful—highly recommended! For the main event, we went with the "Bulk Meat Sampler" which lets you choose from the first six meats on the menu, served in 1/4-pound portions 🥩🔪. Everything was tender and smoky, though the sausage was a bit on the salty side 😅. The real star of the show was the Burnt Ends—rich, caramelized chunks of beef with a deep, stew-like flavor that melted in the mouth. You can even order these in a 1/2-pound portion if you’re really hungry (which we were!). A surprise standout was the Corn Muffin 🌽🧁—sweet, moist, and buttery, it was the perfect companion to the savory meats. The vibe here is rustic and welcoming, with wooden picnic tables and the smell of smoked meat filling the air. Service was friendly and relaxed, making it a great spot to refuel after a day of adventures in Fairbanks. If you’re craving hearty, no-fuss barbecue with local Alaskan charm, Big Daddy’s is definitely worth a visit! #FairbanksFood#AlaskaEats#BBQ#BigDaddysBBQ#SouthernBBQinAlaska#TravelFoodie
