π Fifth Water Hot Spring β A Hidden Autumn Oasis in Utah
π Diamond Fork Rd, Springville, UT 84663 "Parking amid the maple grove in deep autumn, I find frost-touched leaves redder than February flowers." π Just outside Salt Lake City, this place brings ancient poetry to life! Hillsides covered in maples look like a spilled paint palette β shades of orange, red, gold, and brown blending under the steam of natural hot springs. The turquoise-blue pools instantly wash away the autumn chill. Soaking in the warm, natural springs on a crisp fall day is pure bliss π If you live near Salt Lake City β donβt miss this stunning spot! π What to Bring: Sandals or Water Shoes β The pool bottoms are rocky. Bring footwear (learn from my painful mistake! π) Water β Soaking dehydrates you. Pack extra! Snacks β Sneak in some treats to enjoy by the springs π Towel, Change of Clothes & Swimsuit π πΈ Photo & Visit Tips: βͺοΈ About 1.5 hours drive from Salt Lake City βͺοΈ ~1.5-hour hike from the parking area to the springs βͺοΈ P3 β On your way back, donβt miss this super photogenic spot! π ΏοΈ Parking Tips: β $10 per vehicle (credit cards accepted at the entrance machine) β Annual pass holders may get in free (not confirmed) β Limited spots β if full, try turning left out of the lot and park carefully along the right side β NO parking on the right side after exiting β strictly enforced! βοΈ Winter Warning β A Totally Different Experience! My first winter visit last year was rough β not recommended without serious prep. I endured an 8-hour hike in below-freezing temps, slippery trails, and slid down most of the descent on my rear β extremely cold and risky. If you go in winter: Must bring: Ice spikes / crampons, traction devices, and full cold-weather gear. #FifthWaterHotSprings #UtahHotSprings #AutumnInUtah #HikeSLC #FallColors
