Fifth Water Hot Springs and Falls, Springville, Utah 🌿💧
I saw it with my own eyes—milky blue, mint green, the dreamy colors of a natural hot spring! ✨💙 So grateful this magical place was worth my unwavering dedication, even after visiting twice. (The first time, I couldn’t find the right spot—more on that below ⬇️ Absolutely worth the effort!) Drove south from Salt Lake City and stayed overnight in Provo. Woke up early and drove just 40 minutes to the trailhead. At 7 a.m., holding a warm milk tea 🍵, I began my ascent. This hike is perfect for meditation—following the gentle murmur of a flowing creek, wandering along serene winding paths and little wooden bridges. 🍃 The reward at the end? A breathtaking mountaintop hot spring that feels like a hidden paradise—all to yourself! 🏔️💖 Coming early means enjoying this peace alone without the harsh sun. Let your worries evaporate with the steam. After soaking in nature’s healing warmth, I headed leisurely back down. Along the way, hikers greeted each other warmly—until I saw a guy carrying half a huge watermelon 🍉 up the trail. I gave him a big thumbs-up 👍 and even felt like high-fiving ✋ him. Now that’s someone who knows how to enjoy life! 📍Fifth Water Hot Springs and Falls, Springville, Utah Tips: ⚠️ Google Maps shows the WRONG location! On the first day, I ended up in the middle of nowhere because of the incorrect pin. Another family and I hiked 30 minutes into an empty field, looked at each other confused, and turned back. 🧭 Instead, go to AllTrails and search for “Fifth Water Hot Springs Trail” for the correct trailhead address. ❕ Round trip is 4.5 miles—moderate difficulty. Bring plenty of water! Staying hydrated is essential, especially after soaking. 💦 ❕ Changing clothes 👙 at a wild hot spring can be tricky. Bring a quick-dry towel and outdoor-friendly fast-drying clothing. 👌 ❕ Not too many tourists, but popular with locals. Go as early as possible! When I was leaving, it was slowly getting crowded—like a pot of dumplings rolling in! 🥟 #Hiking #USATravel #RoadTrip #Utah #UtahTravel #UtahViews #UtahRoadTrip #SelfDrive #ScenicDrives #USARoadTrip #RVLife #Travel #HotSprings #TravelPhotography #SoloFemaleTravel #SoloTravel #HiddenGems #OffTheBeatenPath #LocalGuide #NatureTherapy #WhereToGoOnHoliday #NorthAmericanLife #AmericanLife #MyHikingDiary #HealedByHiking #HotSpring
