Finally, a Restaurant I Love in Toronto DT! 🎉
I finally got to try the much-anticipated "Fly Restaurant" (aka hole-in-the-wall eatery)! It’s right next to the Golden Bull Plaza in Chinatown! 🐂 Ever since they opened in May, I’ve been wanting to go, but there’s always a line. This week, I finally had some free time after work, so I headed there on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. There was still a short wait, but only about 10 minutes! Highly recommend going on weekdays if you can! ⏰ 💰We were a group of four, and the average cost per person was around $40. 💰 ✨ Zigong Spicy Stir-Fried Chicken ✨ My absolute favorite! The chicken is so tender and flavorful—perfect with rice! Even the garlic sprouts and cucumbers soaked up all the delicious flavors. The portion was big enough that we packed the leftovers, and two people had enough for another meal the next day! ✨ Stir-Fried Liver and Kidney ✨ I’m not a fan of organs, so I ordered this one for my friends. They said it was amazing! They even joked that the best dish was the one I couldn’t enjoy. So, if you like liver and kidney, definitely give this a try! ✨ Crispy Chicken Cartilage ✨ The size of the chicken cartilage was bigger than I expected! It was tasty, but compared to the other dishes, it was just a bit more ordinary. I feel like I’ll be back next week. I have to say, DT finally has a restaurant that I really enjoy! There’s a sense of triumph in that, haha! But beware, it’s quite spicy. We ordered the mild spice and even that was a bit much for us. If you're sensitive to heat, definitely go for mild! #TorontoDT #TorontoChinatown #TorontoEats #HoleInTheWall #SpicyFood #FoodieLife #FlyRestaurant #TorontoFood
