Finally got to try the famous Elliot’s potato flatbread!

The food is indeed beautiful, but isn’t it a bit salty and oily to you all?!! 🥔: Potato flatbread for £15 The flatbread itself is delicious, freshly baked, fluffy, and hot, with a crispy edge. The potato itself doesn’t have much presence, more for show. The scallion butter is also fragrant, and it’s quite tasty with a little caviar! But! I don’t know if it’s because this big lump of butter melts quickly, the whole thing is soaked in oil, very, very, very oily! Trout roe and cheese can be added on the side. Good thing it’s self-serve! This is super duper salty! Help, I was just eating and sucking up oil, and I didn’t finish the caviar in the end, and I barely touched the cheese, too salty. 🍄 Oyster mushroom for £18 Served with parsley leaves and egg yolk, the flavor is like a cream + mushroom sauce + something sour, and there’s a huge amount of pepper and salt. This dish would be excellent with a bowl of rice, the taste is actually good, just extremely salty. The mushrooms came after I finished the flatbread, and I was just eating it plain, so salty, I chugged a whole bottle of water. 💝For some reason, the restaurant defaulted to an optional donation for me, and it came to £38 in the end. I think it’s a bit expensive, the value for money isn’t very high considering the taste. The restaurant environment is nice, and the location is very convenient, right by Borough Market. There are quite a few highly-rated restaurants in this area, but I’m feeling a bit hurt now. #FoodDiary #LondonLife #LondonFoodExploration #LondonFood #LondonTravel
