Fine Dining Indian Cuisine in Cambridge?!

I've heard about this place a long time ago. It used to be mainly vegetarian, but now their tasting menu offers a variety of meat and vegetarian options, and you can also order à la carte. The first time we visited, we tried three sets of the same 7-course meat tasting menu. ✔️ **Snacks**: All three snacks were very unique and probably not available à la carte. Although the server introduced each dish, the heavy Indian accent made it hard to understand everything 😅. We had to guess a bit. ✔️ **Scallop Moilee**: Delish! The charcoal leaf cracker on top was not only beautiful but also tasty. The scallops were tender, and the mango sauce had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. ✔️ **Meen Dakshini**: Made with monkfish, but the fish itself didn't feel very fresh. The texture was a bit mealy, and the spice flavor was overpowering. I also didn't quite enjoy the curry leaf paste on the side... ✔️ **Sparkling Tea**: A nice transition between courses, the sweet and sour sparkling tea was a great palate cleanser and very refreshing. ✔️ **Malai Chicken**: Their signature chicken dish, coated in cream cheese and served with naan and bean curry. The chicken was tender, but it got a bit heavy towards the end. However, the naan and vegetarian curry were delicious and added extra points. ✔️ **Lamb Pulao**: The lamb chops were perfectly grilled! The meat was juicy, and the marrow curry below added another layer of flavor. Just didn't expect it to come with mashed potatoes and saffron rice 😂. ✔️ **Tender Coconut Panna Cotta**: Unbelievably delicious! The coconut milk pudding was silky smooth and full of coconut flavor. I thought the portion was too big at first, but I ended up finishing every bit of this dessert! The mango sorbet on top was also super refreshing.👍 ✔️ **Petit Four**: At the end, we were given complimentary hawthorn cake and chocolate. **Summary**: Super high value for money! We ate so much that we had to lean on the wall to leave. The taste, service, and ambiance were all great. It's a perfect place in Cambridge for a change of pace! We'll definitely come back and try some other dishes à la carte next time. 📍 Navadhanya #Cambridge #CambridgeFood #CambridgeFoodRecommendations #CambridgeRestaurants #CambridgeTravel #CambridgeLife #UKTravel #UKFood
