First Meal in Las Vegas 🎄✨
Kicked off the Christmas holiday with a comforting bowl of Lanzhou Beef Noodles! 🍜 Big Orange and Little Orange revisited Yun Noodles in Las Vegas for the second time — the first visit was during Big Orange’s bad cold, so they ate but couldn’t taste a thing 😷 This time, we brought along our friend Li Li (a tabby cat, figuratively speaking 😹) for a proper meal! We ordered three noodles + a trio of sides + Liangpi (cold skin noodles). As a true Northwesterner, Big Orange’s review: ✅ Beef Noodle Soup — Broth flavor is very authentic! ⚠️ Noodle type options are limited, and thickness isn’t super precise. ✅ Lamb Offal Noodle Soup — Same broth as the beef version, but the lamb has no gamey smell — big thumbs up! 🔥 Spicy Beef Dry Tossed Noodles — Tastes like Guo You Rou style — delicious!! 🥒 Liangpi — Not the traditional kind, but chewy and good (note: it comes without chili — we added our own!). 🥗 Side Dishes: Red oil pickled veggies were the star 🌟 Little Orange loved the shredded potatoes more 🥔 Beef slices were just okay. Finally, the stuffed cats washed it all down with Hui Lau Shan mango desserts 🥭 (Little Orange’s obsession — since the Guangzhou locations closed 😢). We got three mango-based drinks — generous with ingredients but very sweet by default. Big Orange had to dilute theirs with half a cup of water to finish it! 💧 📝 Little Orange still prefers the childhood version… 📝 Heading to the mountains tomorrow — hoping the burgers, hot dogs, and pizza there taste decent! 🏔️🍔 #Foodie #LasVegas #VegasEats #LasVegasTravel #VegasFoodGuide #LanzhouNoodles
