Florence: 3 Restaurants So Good I Visited Twice!
1. Principe del Mare 🦞 Located very close to Piazzale Michelangelo, it’s a convenient stop after watching the sunset. 🏔️→🍽️ Book via The Fork for discounts during certain hours — per person around €20-30 after discount. Must-tries: Their fried seafood and squid ink pasta are to die for! 🦑🍝 Honestly the best I had during my entire 10+ days in Italy. Loved it so much that I made a special trip back the day before leaving, even though it was out of the way! ❤️ 2. La Grotta Guelfa 🥩 Situated near Palazzo Vecchio, right in the city center 🏛️. Also bookable with discounts on The Fork — about €30-40 per person after discount. Their T-bone steak is incredibly fragrant and juicy 🥩🔥. Even the single-portion ribeye feels like enough for two (though the T-bone is meant to be shared!). Lobster pasta was delicious too 🦞🍝, and I couldn’t help noticing the amazing smell of creamy pasta from the next table. The burrata cheese is excellent 🧀, but the beef tartare was just okay — a bit overpriced in my opinion. 3. Gelateria Della Passera 🍧 Located near Pitti Palace, this place comes highly recommended by many — be prepared to queue a little! 🧍♂️🧍♀️... One tricky thing: their menu is written in cursive and only visible once you’re almost at the counter 🖊️👀, plus flavors change regularly, so that famous one you wanted might not be available. I tried grapefruit, dark chocolate, coffee, and hazelnut — all were fantastic! The grapefruit tastes like real fresh grapefruit 🍊, and the dark chocolate is rich but not overly sweet 🍫. #FlorenceEats #FoodGuide #ItalyFood #TravelItaly #Gelato #FoodieRecommendation #BestOfFlorence
