Florence: Top 101 Global Best Steak Houses
This steakhouse can be said to be the most anticipated restaurant during the trip to Florence. It ranks 24th in the Top 101 Global Best Steak Houses list, and it truly deserves its reputation. 🥩T-Bone Steak If you visit the Tuscany region and don't try a T-bone steak, it would be a huge regret. This T-bone steak is exceptional in terms of both doneness (I ordered it medium-rare) and flavor. The seasoning is just right, with the perfect amount of salt, so most people won't need to add any table salt. The Maillard reaction is spot on, giving the steak a rich, smoky flavor from the charcoal grill. 🥘Beef Tartare Served with yogurt sauce and sun-dried tomatoes, and topped with a soft-boiled egg that has a runny yolk. There's a slight Japanese twist to it somehow. The accompanying side dishes, such as finely chopped onions, pickled chili peppers, pickled fish, and yellow mustard, really enhance the flavor. I personally enjoy mixing the finely chopped onions and pickled chili peppers with the yogurt sauce. The beef is tender and soft, and you can still feel the texture of the meat when you chew. However, be cautious if you're sharing with a partner, as the portion size is quite large. 🥗Vegetable Soup This is also a typical Florentine dish. It's quite standard but well-executed. The vegetables are stewed until they are very soft and tender, bringing out a natural sweetness. The T-bone steak is definitely worth trying. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the service is just average. It's true that the prices are a bit on the higher side, probably because it's so well-known. You can get a 20% discount if you make a reservation in advance through their official website. #Foodie #Italy #Europe #EuropeanTravel #Florence #TBoneSteak #FlorenceCuisine #DailyFoodShare #Tuscany
