Florence's incredibly surprising T-bone steak

Today, I wanted to try a boneless steak. After checking many reviews on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), I found mixed feedback. The few places I really wanted to try were, strangely enough, all closed. I was feeling quite disappointed. I decided to give one last try to another restaurant. If that didn't work out, To my surprise, I ended up having an amazing experience and highly recommend this place!😻😻😻 Here's the restaurant name: **Osteria Vecchio Cancello** (Google rating: 4.8)❤️❤️❤️ I ordered a 1-kilogram T-bone steak, a serving of fennel and pork pasta, and a cheesecake. Each dish was fantastic!🥩🥩🥩 🥩 I chose medium doneness for the steak. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed it, and my boyfriend and I easily finished it (58.9 euros/kg). 🍝 The pici pasta was another delightful surprise. As a northerner, I couldn't resist the chewy handmade noodles, which reminded me of the hand-shaved noodles from my hometown (13 euros).😍😍😍 🍮 The cheesecake was decent, not overly sweet, which I liked. The final surprise: I'm not sure if it was because I asked about homemade wine when ordering, but the owner gave me a bottle of red wine as a gift when we were leaving. I was so happy! 🥳 The restaurant's decor is also great, very stylish. We walked in without a reservation and got lucky with an available table, but I would still recommend booking in advance. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again when I'm in Florence next time! #Florence #FlorenceFood #TBoneSteak #ItalyTravel #FlorenceTips #PastaRecommendations
