Florence | Michelin-starred il Palagio in the Four Seasons Hotel ππ½
Italian food is just too delicious, and even a random street-side shop serves great meals. Despite this, I couldn't resist the trend to check out a Michelin-starred restaurant to see the level of fine dining in Italy π΄. I spent a long, long time choosing a restaurant before departure, hoping to find one with a good atmosphere, great for photos, and preferably not too large portions. il Palagio perfectly matched my aesthetic. The dining day happened to follow a day of museum visits, and I was still immersed in the aesthetic art of the Renaissance. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I found it to be like an exquisite museum, with careful selections from fresh flowers to lighting and dinnerware π. It was an immersive experience of Italian romance. πThe food was quite good. The long loaf of bread was something I'd never seen before and was adorable for photos. The freshness of the lobster in the appetizer was excellent, my favorite dish. Of course, Italian cuisine must include risotto and pasta. The way to make traditional dishes fancy is probably by adding black or white truffles. The season had just begun, and the restaurant was already serving them at 9β¬/g. After six courses, I was already full, and then there was a pre-dessert. It was a twelve-out-of-ten satisfying meal! There are still many delicious and cost-effective places in Florence. I'll write about them separately! #Florence #FlorenceFourSeasons #ItalianRestaurant #ItalyFlorence
