📍L'Ortone ⚜️This is a place I visited following the Michelin Guide. It’s located across from Mercato Sant’Ambrosio, in a very local area that’s a bit of a walk from the city center. 🥩 TARTARE DI MANZO CON L'UOVA Tartare is always best with a yolk, though you can choose to have it without. The meat is very fresh and makes a great appetizer. 🕊️ PICCIONE Pigeon is one of the lesser-known Tuscan delicacies and is rarely found on menus. The sauce here, made with vinegar, pomegranate, and lemon, is very flavorful. It’s highly recommended and is one of the restaurant’s signature dishes. 🥬 SPINACI SALTATI A hearty vegetable side dish, featuring daily fresh greens. 🍆🥒 VERDURE GRIGLIATE The grilled eggplant and zucchini are very flavorful and make great side dishes.
