Florida Leisure Edition
Day 1 ✈️ Orlando 📍 Universal Studios We bought a 1-day 2-park ticket. The parks are huge, and Orlando in August is super hot 🥵. After walking all day, we were completely exhausted and headed back around 6–7 PM Day 2 📍 Disney Magical Kingdom We went mainly for the castle and parade 🏰🎠. The parade was much shorter than the one at Shanghai Disney! The park has lots of kid-friendly rides, perfect for someone like me who’s easily scared 😅. By the end, our legs were about to give out, so we didn’t stay for the fireworks Day 3 📍 Disney Epcot This park doesn’t have many rides, so we tried almost all of them. The main goal was collecting stamps and stickers from each country 🌍🏷️—took a lot of effort! Personally, I thought the food at Epcot was slightly better than at Magic Kingdom 🍴. The fireworks here are totally worth watching ✨. Day 4 ✈️ Miami 📍 CVI.CHE 105 We ordered grilled beef heart paella and octopus 🐙🍚. Portions were huge—couldn’t finish between two people. The octopus was tender, but overall it was just okay, nothing special Day 5 📍 Little Havana This street is known for its colorful building murals 🎨. There are lots of cigar shops around. If you get tired, you can stop at a local café for Cuban coffee ☕. It’s nice to walk around on a good day, but when we went, it was hot and rainy 📍 Sanguich Little Havana First time trying a Cuban sandwich—better than expected! 🥪 The bread was crispy with melted cheese inside. I recommend the Sanguich de Miami—the veggies make it refreshing 🥬. 📍 Cajun Boil Brickell This place is a legend for seafood boils! We ate here twice during our Miami trip. Their signature sauce is amazing 👌. Even my boyfriend who can only handle mild spice found the medium spice level fine. Their fried rice is also delicious 🍚! Day 6 📍 Vizcaya Museum & Gardens Feels like a grand estate—super photogenic! 📸 But the famous pavilion area smelled like a sewer 😷. In good light, it’s still very Instagrammable. The gardens in the back are beautiful too 🌺. Watch out for the uneven stone paths—I almost twisted my ankle several times in heels 👠. 📍 Cortadito Coffee Finally tried this trendy coffee spot ☕. Recommend the Tres Leches Latte and their new Coconut Latte 🥥. Their lunch sandwiches are also tasty 🥪. 📍 Joe‘s Stone Crab A bit disappointing, maybe because we went off-season 🦀. The crab claws weren’t very sweet. Just okay overall 😕. Day 7 📍 Miami Design District Lots of luxury brands here 🛍️. The store designs are really stylish—worth a quick visit. 📍 COTE Miami After shopping, we tried this Michelin-starred Korean BBQ 🥩. Service was great but a bit pricey 💸. The meat tasted better than average, but most of it was only seasoned with salt, so it was a bit plain and salty #US #Florida #Jacksonville
