Fog Harbor Fish House at SF's Pier 39 🦀🌊
Can’t believe I’m back at Pier 39 just a month later — but here we are! My first night back in SF, still totally jet-lagged 😵, we headed to Fisherman’s Wharf for dinner. By early October, the city was already cooling down ❄️, and with the overcast skies, it felt like a whole different world compared to my sunny August visit. As a popular tourist spot, the food here is decent but not mind-blowing. Honestly, the Caesar salad might have been my favorite part 😅. The lobster and mac & cheese were pretty good too 🦞🧀, and we tried the seasonal Kumamoto oysters — super tiny but fresh and flavorful! The restaurant itself has one of the better atmospheres on the wharf. If you snag a window seat, you can watch the boats go by and maybe even spot sea lions 🦭 in the distance. (Though this time, without the sun, they were probably hiding underwater!) Verdict: A solid choice if you’re already at Pier 39 — but not worth a special trip. 📍 Fog Harbor Fish House | Pier 39, SF #FishermansWharf #Pier39 #SanFranciscoEats #SeafoodLovers #TravelBites #SeaViews #JetlaggedDining #SFFoodDiary
