Following Food Bloggers: Salt Lake City Izakaya Bar NOHM 🍶✨
It’s said to be a Korean-style izakaya, but honestly, I didn’t feel much Korean influence—the decor and skewers lean more Japanese. 🏮🍢 They check ID at the door; you must be 21+ to enter (apparently, alcohol regulations are pretty strict here, and drinks tend to be milder). 🪪🚫 Their cocktails are quite unique—lots of ingredients I’d never heard of! Ended up taking a photo of the menu and asking GPT for recommendations. 😂📱 The skewers were all pretty tasty—the chicken skin was unexpectedly delicious! 🍗🔥 The sesame noodles hit the spot for Asian flavors. 🍜❤️ The oden was just okay in my opinion—basically assorted ingredients simmered in broth, though some people love it. The weirdest item was the cucumber salad: mixed with powder, wood ear mushrooms, and Korean chili paste… strange combo. 🥒🤨 Given that most places are closed on weekends, finding this spot was a real treat! 🎉🏮 #IzakayaFood #SaltLakeCity #BarNOHM #JapaneseSkewers #CocktailAdventure #WeekendEats
