📍 South Philly Barbacoa I swear, every time I don’t go for a while, I start craving it again! My order is always the same—1/2 kilo of barbacoa—and every time, I leave stuffed and completely satisfied 😅 The barbacoa is consistently amazing—perfectly balanced fat and lean meat, plus that crispy skin! 🐑 I also love the soup that comes with the meal. The lamb broth is incredibly savory, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. The chickpeas are cooked just right—so good. Their fresh juices are fantastic too, though I skipped them this time because it was freezing 🥶 What’s even more impressive is how they keep improving! The side dishes used to be self-serve, then came pre-packed in plastic containers, and now they’re beautifully presented on a four-compartment ceramic plate 🍽️✨ They’ve gradually evolved from a cozy, no-frills street spot into a more organized and polished… still-quintessential street spot 😂 I also noticed the lamb is seasoned a bit differently now—new spices I hadn’t tasted before, and there were even bones in the mix this time! Even the staff’s English has improved so much since my last visit.
