😅 Food Review in Buffalo

😅 Food Review in Buffalo: A Burmese Restaurant That Tested My Patience (and Stomach) 👋🏻 In a nutshell: 1-hour wait for food, 10 minutes to eat, 30 minutes in the bathroom afterward — a truly memorable meal! While attending a conference near Niagara, I searched for nearby dinner spots and found Roma Thai & Burmese Cuisine — highly recommended with a 4.9🌟 Google rating. We drove over with high hopes. 🕖 Waiting… for the menu! We got the only available table for two — lucky us! 🍀 But after sitting down for 5–6 minutes — no one acknowledged us, no menus, not even water. The owner finally came over, very polite, but asked, “You didn’t get a menu?” (Inside my head: We’d love one! 🙄) 🍽️ The serving speed: Waiting for a magical feast After ordering, I looked around and realized almost every table was just waiting — empty plates everywhere. We ordered 2 dishes + 1 salad and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes ⏳! The worst off were two tables of four behind us — they arrived earlier than us and waited even longer. One woman finally asked for her food to-go, while an elderly couple had to remind the staff three times before their food arrived. Strong suspicion: only one cook in the kitchen, finishing one table’s entire order before starting the next… 😫 🌶️ The taste review: Spicy to the soul, salty to disbelief ▪️ Burmese Curry with Goat As someone who can handle ghost peppers, this curry defeated me — extremely salty and spicy. Within 30 minutes, my stomach was protesting 🚽💨. ▪️ Tea Leaf Salad Interesting flavor, but not worth an hour’s wait. ▪️ Another stir-fry dish So ordinary I’ve already forgotten its name… 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⚠️ Service & hygiene: A double blow Maybe the owner knows slow service means low tips, so service basically vanished afterward: ▪️ Asked for lime — never arrived 🍋❌ ▪️ Empty water glasses never refilled 💧🚫 ▪️ Restaurant wasn’t even full, but couldn’t get anyone’s attention The stomachache afterward points to possible food hygiene issues — and I usually have an iron stomach! 🦾💔 🚫 Final verdict: Honestly, not recommended! Unless you have infinite patience + an iron gut + no plans afterward… Otherwise, avoid on weekends, at peak hours, or before any scheduled events! You’ll wait till the flowers wither, and might end up as a “restroom explorer” afterward 🚽🧭. 💡 Tip: High Google ratings aren’t always reliable — check the most recent reviews for possible shared trauma 💦. 📍 Roma Thai & Burmese Cuisine #Buffalo#BuffaloFood#NiagaraFalls#FoodReviewFail#RestaurantWarning#BurmeseCuisine#HonestReview
