🎉 Fort Worth 7-Day Getaway 🌵

Finally—CSE 2025 is over! My talk is done, my social battery is drained… and now it’s time to explore Fort Worth! 🥳💻➡️🤠 After days of non-stop conferencing and networking, I’m more than ready to trade PowerPoints for prairie views and keynote speeches for cowboy boots. Welcome to Fort Worth, Texas—where history meets hip, and wide-open spaces meet big city charm. 🌆🐄 Here’s a peek at my laid-back, recovery-mode week: Day 1-2: Historic Stockyards 🤠 Wandering through the Fort Worth Stockyards felt like stepping into a Western movie. Caught the daily cattle drive 🐂, tried on one too many cowboy hats, and may or may not have line-danced at Billy Bob’s Texas… No regrets. 💃🎶 Day 3: Culture Recharge 🖼️ Spent a quiet day at the Kimbell Art Museum and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Perfect blend of inspiration and calm—plus, AC is a lifesaver in the Texas heat. ❄️🎨 Day 4: Botanic Bliss 🌸 The Fort Worth Botanic Garden was pure therapy. Japanese Garden = instant zen. And the butterfly exhibit? Magical. 🦋😌 Day 5: Sundance Square & Food Crawl 🍖 Lazy afternoon people-watching in Sundance Square, followed by a BBQ tour. Yes, I ate brisket for two meals. Don’t @ me. 😋🔥 Day 6: Trinity Trails & Lakeside Chill 🚴☀️ Rented a bike and rode along the Trinity River. Ended the day watching the sunset at Eagle Mountain Lake. Absolutely soul-refilling. 🌅💧 Day 7: Farewell, Y’all 👋 One last breakfast taco (I’ll miss you forever, breakfast taco), a slow pack-up, and a heartfelt “see ya later” to this surprisingly green, genuinely friendly city.
