🦒 Fort Worth Zoo – A Must-Visit in Texas! 🌿
If you’re traveling to Texas, you absolutely can’t miss this zoo! I was hesitating between visiting Fort Worth Zoo and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center (the drive-through safari), but I’m so glad I chose this one—it was amazing! 🤩 📍 1989 Colonial Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76110 💡 Open 365 days a year! Ticket Prices: Ages 13+: $16 Ages 3–12: $12 Under 3: FREE Parking: $5 per vehicle And guess what? Every Wednesday is HALF-PRICE! 🎉💵 From the moment you step in, it feels like walking into a tropical rainforest 🌴🌳—way more immersive and thoughtfully designed than your average zoo. Even on a 34°C (93°F) day, the shaded paths and lush vegetation made it surprisingly comfortable to walk around. There’s no paper map—you can scan a QR code at the entrance to download one, or just wander freely following the signs. 🗺️📲 My favorite part was feeding the giraffes! 🦒💚 You can buy lettuce onsite—$6 for three leaves (a bit pricey but totally worth it). The kids loved it… and honestly, I probably loved it even more 😉 With nearly 7,000 animals and over 500 species, the Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top zoos in the U.S. 🐘🦁🐍 Their reptile collection is especially impressive! 🐊 Since Texas is so vast and spread out, there aren’t tons of attractions everywhere—but this is definitely one of them. Highly recommend! 👏 #FortWorthZoo #TexasTravel #ZooAdventure #FamilyFun #GiraffeFeeding #WildTexas #TravelWithKids #USATravel #ZooLovers 🐆🌵❤️
