France | Half-Day Trip to Dunkirk

🏰Many people know of Dunkirk because of the famous Dunkirk evacuation. The city is not very large; you can explore it in just half a day. The coastal city is truly beautiful! 🌊There’s not much to see in the city center, just the usual town hall/clock tower/museum, etc. I recommend the Port du Bassin du Commerce next to the town hall. The scenery is stunning, and the port walkway is filled with graffiti. When we visited, we even caught a weekend event with a lively market, various musical performances, and shows~ 🚢After exploring the city center, you can head to the beach. Just search for Plage de Malo-les-Bains🏖️. It’s a huge beach that seems to stretch endlessly, with very fine sand. Many people sunbathe there. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed, probably because of the many children around.
