🏡✨ Frankenmuth: A Fairytale Day Trip from Ann Arbor!
Just an hour’s drive from Ann Arbor lies Frankenmuth—a storybook German-inspired village that feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale! 🧁🏘️ Founded by Bavarian immigrants in the 19th century, this charming town is packed with flower-lined streets, specialty shops, and old-world charm. 📍 What to see & do: Explore cute boutiques and craft stores 🧵🛍️ Visit the Frankenmuth Historical Museum 🏛️ Stop by the nearby zoo and splash park 🦁💦 (great for families!) Treat yourself to famous fudge, ice cream, and German pastries 🍫🍨 Don’t miss the iconic covered bridge and river walk 🌉🍃 🍽️ We ate at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth—a classic German spot, but tbh it wasn’t our favorite. Maybe you’ll have better luck! 😅 Still, the town is 100% worth the trip for photos, vibes, and sweets! 📸✨ Perfect for a weekend escape, date day, or just when you need a little magic ✨💫 Have you been to Frankenmuth?
