Frankfurt | The Ceiling of a Brick Building!
Industriepark Höchst In 1924, architect Peter Behrens designed and constructed the technical management building of the Hoechst dye factory, which stands as one of the outstanding examples of brick architecture. Behrens ensured the building's diversity by using colorful bricks, unique window forms, crystal patterns, and handcrafted details. The impressive 15-meter-high hall in the central wing features brick columns that frame the octagonal skylight above, gradually tapering upward. The interwoven colors of bricks in green, blue, red, purple, orange, and yellow add a captivating atmosphere to the heart of the building, with these architectural elements faithfully restored in 2007. 📍 Frankfurt, Germany 📐 Peter Behrens 📸 Lars Gruber | Sebastian Herkner | Newgate1996 🗓 1924 #AestheticLiving #ArchitecturalDesign #ClassicArchitecture #MasterArchitects #Frankfurt #LifeInGermany #ChroniclesOfRomanticLiving
