Freshly Caught and Steamed King Crab All-You-Can-Eat Experience

📍 Location: Snowhotel Kirkenes & Gamme Northern Lights Cabins 💰 Price: One-day round trip from Finland to Kirkenes: €325. 🔸 Activity Content King crab fishing Tasting king crab Visiting the ice hotel We joined a group tour from Finland to Kirkenes. 🔸 King Crab Fishing (1 hour) After arriving at the hotel, we had to put on cold-weather gear and helmets. The staff drove us on snowmobiles to the frozen bay. It was extremely cold🥶, with temperatures as low as -35°C. Standing on the ice was like being inside a giant freezer. The staff were responsible for catching and processing the king crabs. Afterward, we could take photos with the crabs, and the staff gave a brief introduction to them. 🔸 Tasting King Crab (1 hour) After a long wait, it was finally time to eat! Each person was given two crab legs to start, and we could take more after finishing those. The crab meat was incredibly delicious!!! The staff demonstrated how to open the crab legs, and each of us was provided with a pair of scissors to make it easier to extract the meat. The restaurant also offered mayonnaise, butter, bread slices, and unlimited hot water and hot coffee (I loved the hot water). 🔸 Visiting the Ice Hotel (40 minutes) The ice hotel is located in the basement of the main hotel. Although it's not as grand as the Harbin Ice and Snow World, it is a unique hotel room at sub-zero temperatures. If you walk quickly, you can finish the tour in 10 minutes. Summary This was a truly unique icy experience, but it was just too cold!!!!
