FresnoTravel Kings Canyon National Park 🏞️
originally known as General Grant National Park, offers joint access with the neighboring Sequoia National Park for one vehicle fee of $35 🚗💨. Its core landscape features the breathtaking Kings Canyon—a glacier-carved gorge plunging over 1,600 meters deep ⛰️❄️. The park is also home to one of the world’s most expansive giant sequoia groves: the Redwood Mountain Grove 🌳🌲, with approximately 15,800 sequoia trees, making it the densest sequoia forest on Earth. Another iconic area is Grant Grove, where you’ll find the General Grant Tree—the world’s second-largest tree 🎄🌟, around 1,500 years old, honored as the “National Christmas Tree” of the United States. This land was originally home to Native American communities. Park facilities are mainly concentrated in two areas: Grant Grove (visitor center, tree viewing trails) and Cedar Grove in the canyon (river scenery, hiking routes 🥾👣). #KingsCanyon #SequoiaNationalPark #NationalParks #CaliforniaTravel #GiantSequoias #NatureLovers #HikingAdventure #FresnoTravel 🌲📸✨
