Fresno Blossom & Family Day Trip 🌸👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Heard the Fresno blossoms were peaking, so we planned a weekend trip—starting early from the South Bay! 📍 First Stop: Scenic View Point We pulled over while switching drivers—and what a surprise! A beautiful lakeside spot perfect for photos. 🏞️📸 📍 Second Stop: Fresno Chaffee Zoo A compact but fun zoo with plenty of activities—shows, crafts, and animal encounters. The stingray touch and giraffe feeding are paid extras 🦒💵 (note: giraffe feeding is temporarily closed for maintenance this week!). Food is available inside. 📍 Third Stop: Storyland Right across from the zoo, this playful park is full of color and themed rides! We even spotted Super Mario greeting guests at the entrance 🎠🍄—perfect if you have extra time. 📍 Final Stop: Fresno County Blossom Trail A 60-mile scenic loop drive 🚗💨. We stopped at a dreamy almond blossom grove 🌸, but heard the peach blossoms are also stunning! Use the official interactive map on Google Maps for real-time bloom spotting. Tips for Your Trip: 1️⃣ For just blossoms, Tracy or Los Banos may be closer—many fields along the way to Fresno are also blooming beautifully. 2️⃣ Giraffe feeding is paused this week + zoo parking gets tight in the afternoon! 3️⃣ Bring a camera + drone if you have them—the aerial views are incredible! 📷✈️ 4️⃣ Best light for portrait photos? Around 3 PM! ☀️👌 Wishing everyone a flower-filled adventure—spring won’t wait! 🌼💖 #FamilyTrip #FresnoBlossoms #BayAreaWeekends #DayTrip #CaliforniaBlossomTrail #SpringInCA #KidsActivities #BlossomHunting
