Fried Dough with a Twist! πŸ©πŸ¦€

After seeing Food Network star Kardea Brown rave about Loretta's, I knew I had to try it! With two locations – a stall in the French Market (super convenient for French Quarter visitors πŸŽͺ) and a cozy cafΓ© in Faubourg Marigny – it's easier than ever to get your beignet fix. I actually passed by the famous Cafe du Monde on my way, and based on their posted hours, I thought Loretta's might be closed. But surprise – they were open! πŸŽ‰ Now, I’ve tried Cafe du Monde's classic beignets, and yes, they're delicious. But Loretta's totally changes the beignet game by offering both sweet and savory varieties, plus other baked goods and sweet treats 🧁. I ordered what Kardea did: Crab Beignet – $8.50 πŸ¦€ (a bit pricey, but oh-so-tasty!) Praline Beignet – over $7 for 3 🍯 (good but very sweet – the filling made it less light and fluffy) It makes you wonder – how many pounds of powdered sugar do New Orleans beignet shops go through in a day? πŸ˜‚ They also have other tempting items like crawfish beignets, PB&J beignets, and different biscuits πŸ₯, but NOLA is a food city – you’ve gotta pace yourself! Definitely worth a visit for something different and delicious. #LorettasBeignets #SweetAndSavory #CrabBeignet #PralineBeignet #FoodNetworkApproved #NOLAEats #BeignetLover #MustTry πŸŽŠπŸ“ΈπŸ’›
