From Kathmandu to Nagarkot
1️⃣ From Kathmandu to Bhaktapur ✨First, navigate to Bhaktapur Bus Station in Kathmandu. There will be many vehicles available. Just ask, "To Bhaktapur?" If they confirm, hop on the bus. ⚠️ 🩵When you board, they won't collect the fare immediately; they will collect it when you get off. As you approach the final stop, they will come around to collect fares one by one. Get off at the Bhaktapur mini bus park; the announcements might be hard to understand, so keep an eye on the map and get off when you reach your destination. 🌈It's not the final stop, and the bus ride takes about an hour. After getting off, you can explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which has an entrance fee of 500 NPR. 2️⃣ From Bhaktapur to Nagarkot 🌿Navigate to Nagarkot Bus Park, and the process is the same. Ask if it's going to Nagarkot, and once confirmed, hop on the bus. This bus will take you directly to the final stop. The fare is 100 NPR, but I gave the driver 100 and he returned 20, so the ticket price was actually 80 NPR. 🏡 For accommodation, I chose Sunrise Point Homestay, which costs about 64.61 USD per day. 🌟From where you get off to the homestay, follow the navigation, which takes about 30 minutes. This stretch involves winding mountain roads, and there are usually not many people or vehicles around. Once you arrive, check in to your room, which is a simple single room in a homestay located on the hillside. Below are terraced fields, and when I arrived, the rapeseed flowers were still blooming. At night, you can enjoy a sky full of stars! ⭐ #Kathmandu#Nagarkot#Sunrise Point Homestay#Nepal#trip diary#travel guide#Kathmandu guide#Bhaktapur
