🚂 From NYC → A Relaxed 2-Day Philly Guide

Didn’t want to rush—so here’s a chill but fulfilling itinerary 😌 🚂 Day 1 Took Amtrak from Penn Station around noon 🕛 ✨ Pro tip: Book early! We bought tickets just 1-2 days before and paid a lot more—almost sold out 😬 Arrived in Philly in just 1.5 hours 🎯 Spent the afternoon exploring: 🏛️ UPenn Campus 🏡 House of Our Own Books 📍 3920 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104 A cozy little bookstore with both used and new books 📚❤️ Then headed toward downtown—City Hall is right in the center. Philly’s downtown is super small—everything is within a 10-15 min walk! 🚶‍♀️🍃 🚂 Day 2 Morning: Liberty Bell & Independence Park 🗽🔔 A few historic buildings are clustered together—took about an hour to see everything. Originally planned more museums… but ended up choosing one: 🧠 The Mütter Museum 📍 19 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 A fascinating (and slightly creepy 😅) collection of medical oddities, human specimens, and even Einstein’s brain slices! Small but totally unique—worth a visit. By the time we finished, it was already past 5 PM. Strolled around as the city lit up 🌃… 💨 Not sure if it was just super windy that day or if Philly’s always like this—but WOW, the wind was crazy! Felt like a typhoon back in Guangdong 🌀🤦‍♀️ Signs and barriers were blown over… we could barely walk straight at times! ☑️ Lesson learned: Always check the weather forecast! 🌤️👀 #NYCGetaway #NewYork #Philly #UPenn #StudyAbroadTravel #NYU #TravelPhilly #Wanderlust
