This ancient castle was built over 7 years, starting in 1601 during the Keicho era, by the first lord of Fukuoka Domain, Kuroda Nagamasa. ๐ It holds significant historical value๐. Within the castle grounds, you can find several historical relics such as the Tamon Yagura (a designated Important Cultural Property), the Shiomidai Yagura, the Shimo no Hashi Go-mon, the Kinen Yagura, and the Omori Tahei Residence's Nagaya-mon.
