Fukuoka Castle
Fukuoka Castle π°πΈπΊπΏπ The father and son team of Kuroda Kanbee were enfeoffed in this location due to their achievements in the Battle of Sekigahara, πΊπΏπ and the castle they constructed is known as Fukuoka Castle. It is said that out of consideration for the shogunate, they did not build a donjon (main keep). During the Meiji period, πΊπΏπ when the policy of abolishing castles was implemented, many buildings were dismantled and repurposed.
