Fun and Fascinating Ludwigsburg Pumpkin Festival 🎃✨

This year's theme for the Ludwigsburg Pumpkin Exhibition is "Women's Power"! As someone who studies post-colonialism and feminism, I'm really fond of the pumpkin sculptures featuring kitchen utensils, baby bottles, hammers, and technological smart tools. 🛠️🍼🔨💻🎃 The exhibition is held in the palace garden, and if you take your time to leisurely stroll through the garden, it's about a 4-hour experience. In addition to the themed sculptures, there are introductions and displays of various types of pumpkins, from the most commonly sold Buttersquash and Hokkaido in supermarkets to the less common Sweet dumpling and Black little, and more. I had a great time, but it was quite a journey from Wiesbaden! It took 9 hours there and back with so many transfers, I was exhausted.
